"USS Constitution" frigate in 1/330 scale kit by Mamoli

Wooden kit of the american frigate U.S.S. Constitution 1/330 scale produced by Mamoli. The U.S.S.Constitution, American frigate with 54 guns , was launched on 21st of October 1797. It had bigger dimensions, sails and equipment than the contemporary ships of the same class. Its strong construction gave it the name of "Old Ironsides". The kit is complete, it does not need additional materials to complete the work. The kit has the shape of the hull fully made from a single piece of wood that does not require planking and specific equipment. The kit has all the material to construct the masts and the structures and various accessories and decorations including the lifeboats, anchors and guns made of metal. For the maneuvres, two spools of linen thread is provided. The kit despite the small scale maintains the concept of shipbuilding. The construction is extremely facilitated by the presence of schematic drawings made in 1/1 scale. The drawings are easy to read for both the experienced modelers and for beginners who approach the static model in the ship building.
